Past Projects

Positioners

CRI supported a high-power microwave technology company, through designing, manufacturing, and providing operational support of the rotating positioner which directs their system.

C-sUAS EO/IR Surveillance System (WISP)

CRI provided integration and sustainment of sensing equipment on telescoping and G-Boss towers, engineering, program management, operational and FSR, logistical, and training support.

SRI

CRI partnered with SRI, in support of AFRL, to deliver a CRI LodeStar 16" fiber optic rotary joint gimbal with reconfigurable optic bench containing a custom payload. CRI supplied personnel to support initial integration and system flight testing.

Australia Utility Poles

CRI built and deployed a system for flying powerline corridors in Australia and capturing image data for inspection of towers and surroundings. A helicopter-mounted Lidar system provided imagery for analysis of structures and identification of damage.

Forest Service

CRI designed and provided a LodeStar multi-axis stabilized gimbal, wide area infra-red (IR) fire mapping camera system capable of providing motion imagery (temporal and spatial data) on wildland fire incidents to collect fire spread, drop footprints, and drop/fire interaction during daytime environmental conditions associated with wildfire activities.

Open Skies

CRI was contracted to engineer, install, and certify a new Digital Visual Imagery System (DVIS) on an OC 135B aircraft in support of the multinational Treaty on Open Skies.

SS-AISR

CRI provided all CONUS and OCONUS FSR support for the EMARSS-G aircraft. This included diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading gimbal electronics and fielded computer software and hardware.

Constant Hawk Iraq

CRI was tasked to integrate the Constant Hawk Quick Reaction Capability on a C-23 Sherpa cargo aircraft and deployed sensor operators, maintainers, and IT technicians in support of Task Force ODIN counter IED activity.

SISUDT

CRI provided support for the PGST Tower System under NAVAIR to conduct setup, integration, and operation of Wide Area and FMV systems to satisfy C-sUAS mission requirements.

Sensor Development for NSWC-Crane

CRI was awarded a contract for prototypes of advanced sensors and sensor systems in support of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and force protection missions.

Deep Water Horizon - Clean Up

CRI, in conjunction with MIT, flew flight operations for the US Coast Guard during the Deep Water Horizon (DWH) Oil Spill. CRI flew and operated the MIT MASIVS wide-area EO sensor during the event and was able to monitor the entire DWH Task Force operation simultaneously and continuously. One system provided the data of more than 10 helicopter-mounted systems.

Wildlife Tracking

CRI leased and operated a Wescam MX15 integrated gimbal/sensor and a Churchill ARS system to conduct a survey of polar bear and den locations in Alaska.

WEBS

CRI supported Fibertek under the Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor Services (WEBS) program through development, fabrication, demonstration, and project management for the TACOP Universal Primary Mission Equipment Power Supply. As the subject matter experts for the TACOP and AWAPSS Gimbaled Systems, CRI trained US Army personnel on the systems.

STORM /EMARSS Program

CRI FSRs supported aerial flights, training, and repair and maintenance of AWAPSS and other WAMI sensors and subsystems by system troubleshooting, repairing components/subsystems, performing tests and reinstallation of payloads.

Constant Hawk Afghanistan

CRI provided sensor operators, IT technicians, TCDL operators, analysts and liaison officers responsible for PME system maintenance and troubleshooting.
