Airborne Sensor Operator

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Operating various airborne sensors to include:
    • EO/IR
    • LIDAR
    • Hyper Spectral
    • FMV Systems
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting sensor and capture systems

Systems Administrator / IT Subject Matter Expert

Opportunity available for a Systems Administrator / IT Subject Matter Expert in support of ground operations for Army ISR platform deployed to Afghanistan

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure integrity of multiple High Performance Linux and Windows systems in a mobile data center
  • Monitor health of systems, network and environmental services
  • Execute daily imagery processing functions for multiple ISR platforms
  • Manage data archive and offline backup functions
  • Maintain Information Assurance profile in support of DIACAP ATO
  • Provide Administrative and Desktop Support for 30 + local users for multiple imagery analysis networks, SIPR, NIPR and CENTRIX
  • Interact with remote development teams to implement patches and integrate system hardware, software or network modifications
  • Maintain SOP’s and P&P documentation

This posting is for a highly qualified Analyst for potential assignment on one or more ISR programs as an IA, ASA, TCDL or LIDAR Analyst. This demanding position depends on a solid background in Imagery as a baseline, with additional experience in other INTs as a baseline expander. Additional experience in operations is highly desirable. All candidates must be customer-focused and possess a team member mentality. This is not an entry level position.

Role and Responsibilities (Varies with program):
  • Reports directly to the Lead Analyst with a direct coordination line to the RFI Manager.
  • Required to analyze imagery against the requirements of the customer and produce products as a member of a PED team.
  • Must produce thorough products, not just meet the minimum requirement
  • May be required to train Sensor Operators on on-board exploitation.
  • May be required to support operational or sustainment tasks unrelated to the above job description.
Minimal Experience:
  • At least 5 years former military experience in IMINT (96D/H or 350G) with additional experience in SIGINT, FMV, All Source (96D, 350G). Strong 18F/180As will also be considered.
  • Must be able to function first as an imagery analyst with the technical expertise and experience to conduct thorough exploitation while considering how other INTs factor into the effort.
  • Must possess the ability to write high quality analysis reports to accompany imagery products in order to meet the needs of the military customer.
  • Candidates must be “computer savvy” in order to quickly learn new systems or advise developers on ways to improve software functionality
  • Basic computer skills: Must be technically proficient with standard Microsoft Office Software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Earth.
  • Advanced computer and Wide-Area Imagery analysis experience using one or more of the following is preferred: APIX, Peregrine, Pursuer, QT Modeler, ArcGIS, and DCGS, TIGR, CIDNE.
  • Must be articulate, and have the ability to present intelligence products to senior personnel.
  • Will be required to attend both a wide area exploitation and LIDAR analysts training course.
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in the forensic analysis principles of wide area exploitation and COIN.
  • Former senior Special Operations experience (18F/180A) is highly desirable but not required.
  • Technical savvy and ability to work with others is preferred over a specific credential.
Minimal Requirements:
  • Applicant must be a US citizen, meet US military standards for deployment, and possess a valid US Passport and driver’s license.
  • A Bachelor degree is preferred.
  • Must possess a current Secret Clearance. TS SCI is preferred
  • New hires will be evaluated at 90 days for extension or dismissal.
